The best way to report any concerning comments or discussions on the Second Nature platform is by using the ‘Report comment’ function. All reported comments will then be sent to our customer support team to investigate.
Where can I find this function?
In group chat
You can find this function by pressing down on the comment you’d like to report. Once you’ve held it for a few seconds, a screen will appear at the bottom of the page. Click the option that says ‘report comment’.
In the communities
You can find this function by clicking on the 3 small dots at the top right of the comment. A small screen will appear at the bottom of the page with the option ‘report comment’.
Speak to Customer Support
You’re also welcome to speak directly to our customer support team if you have any concerns around comments/discussions in any of the Second Nature group chats or communities. Please click on the ‘speak to customer support’ icon at the bottom of your chat screen.
How do I know if a comment is concerning?
We’re committed to ensuring Second Nature is a place where our members have a safe and positive environment. We take our role seriously in keeping abuse away from our platform.
Concerning comments / messages include, but are not limited to, the following:
Discriminatory comments (e.g. comments concerning nationality, race, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age)
Hate speech
Comments of self harm and / or suicide
Comments of suspected or diagnosed eating disorders
Inappropriate photographs (e.g. nudity and sexual activity of adults and children, violent / graphic content)
Expressions of violent or criminal activity
If you identify any of the above, we strongly encourage you to report this comment, either using our ‘report comment’ function or by talking to our customer support team.
