🥒 Cucumber, mint, and ginger water
Ingredients
½ a peeled cucumber
12 - 16 mint leaves (stems removed)
3 slices of ginger
Method
Place cucumber, mint leaves, and ginger into a large jug or container.
Crush all the ingredients in the base of the jug using the handle of a wooden spoon.
Cover with water and place in the fridge. Leave for a few hours to let the flavours infuse.
🍍 Orange, pineapple, and rosemary water
Ingredients
3 slices of orange (skin on)
2 slices of fresh pineapple (skin off)
One sprig of rosemary
Method
Place orange, pineapple, and rosemary into a large jug or container.
Crush all the ingredients in the base of the jug using the handle of a wooden spoon.
Cover with water and place in the fridge. Leave for a few hours to let the flavours infuse.
🍓 Strawberry and coconut water
Ingredients
6 medium-sized strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 litre of coconut water (check for ‘no added sugar’)
Method
Cut strawberries and place them into a large jug or container.
Crush the strawberries in the base of the jug using the handle of a wooden spoon.
Cover with coconut water and place in the fridge. Leave for a few hours to let the flavours infuse.
🍹 Blackberry and mint iced tea
Ingredients
½ cup fresh (or frozen) blackberries or mixed berries
1 small bunch of fresh mint leaves
4 green tea bags (use decaf if preferred)
6 cups of hot water
Method
Place all the ingredients in a jug or container.
Pour the hot water into the jug and leave to steep for 15 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
Place the jug in the fridge for a few hours to chill and allow the flavours to release.
🍋 Lemon and basil iced tea
Ingredients
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 small bunch of fresh basil leaves
4 green tea bags (use decaf if preferred)
6 cups of hot water
Method
Place all the ingredients in a jug or container.
Pour the hot water into the jug and leave to steep for 15 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
Place the jug in the fridge for a few hours to chill and allow the flavours to release.
