Accidents happen, and sometimes a sharps bin can get accidentally locked or arrive sealed shut. But don't worry, here's a simple way to open it again using a common household tool.
What You'll Need:
A flathead screwdriver (or a similar sturdy, flat utensil)
Instructions:
Holding the sharps bin securely, insert the head of the screwdriver/utensil under the 'lock gap' in the bin lid
Lift the handle-end of the screwdriver/utensil upwards
The sharps bin lid should pop/click open
