You can still enjoy all the meals on the Second Nature programme if you have a nut allergy.

We'd suggest removing the nuts from the recipes and instead replacing with the following options:

  • For baked goods where nut flour is used, replace with fine oats or blended rolled oats. 80g of oats is a substitute for 100g of ground almonds.
  • For recipes where nuts are added, replace with seeds.
  • For nut butters (e.g. peanut butter or almond butter), replace with seed butters (e.g. pumpkin seed butter).
