If you enjoy a range of different activities and would like this to be reflected on the Second Nature app, you can do this by converting these activities into step counts.

You can use the chart below to determine the equivalent number of steps for your chosen activity.

Simply multiply the amount of time you did the activity by the number of steps indicated on the chart. For example, 30 minutes of mopping equals 2,550 steps (30 minutes x 85).

If your activity isn't listed, find the one(s) most similar to it on the list and estimate the activity’s step value. You can also estimate steps by knowing that 2,000 steps is equal to one mile.

To add your steps from your activity in the Second Nature app, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Second Nature app

  2. From the Home screen, select the 'Track' icon from the bottom toolbar in-app

  3. Select 'Steps' at the top of the page

  4. Select 'Add steps manually'

  5. Enter your steps reading

  6. You can set these steps as your total for the day ('Set total'), or add them to any steps previously recorded to your profile ('Add steps')

Please don't hesitate to contact Customer Support with any questions:

  • Press the 'Chat' icon from the bottom toolbar in-app, scroll to the bottom, and press 'Speak to Customer Support'
