As you're probably aware, if you've been referred to Second Nature via the NHS, it's the NHS who has funded your place on the programme.

The only requirement they have is that you record your weight at specific time points (month 3, 6, and 9) so they can measure the effectiveness of the programme. While this is a requirement, it's important to note that our programme focuses on overall health improvements, not just weight loss!

If you receive an email or phone call reminder about entering a weight reading, then it means you're within one of those specific time points. Please go ahead and add your latest weight reading to the app, either manually or using your SN bluetooth scales.

To add weight readings manually:

  1. Select the 'Track' icon from the bottom toolbar in-app and ensure the 'Weight' heading is highlighted

  2. Under the graph, select the option to 'Add weight manually'

  3. Type in your weight

  4. If necessary, you can retrospectively add a weight reading by selecting the blue date

  5. A date wheel will appear at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to set the date and press 'Confirm'

  6. Select 'Add'

To sync your scales to the app:

  1. Open the Second Nature app and select ‘Track’ at the bottom of the screen

  2. Select ‘My devices’ at the top right of the screen

  3. Step on the scales (with bare feet) to turn them on, then step off

  4. Once they're on, step on the scales again, your weight reading will then blink on the
    display

  5. Immediately select 'Pair new scales' on the ‘My Devices’ app page - it will then
search for the scales- remain standing on the scales until a message appears confirming that they have paired

  6. Your weight reading will then be synched to your app and will soon appear in your ‘Track’ page. As long as the scales are paired to the app, any subsequent weight readings will automatically sync to your account
