Missing a dose of medication can happen to anyone. Here’s what you should do if you miss a dose of either Wegovy or Mounjaro.
If you're taking Wegovy:
If it's within 5 days of the missed dose:
Take your current dose as soon as possible.
For your next dose, return to your usual schedule on the original day you typically take your medication.
If it's been over 5 days since the missed dose:
Skip the current dose and wait until your next scheduled dose on your usual day.
If you're taking Mounjaro:
If it's within 4 days of the missed dose:
Take your current dose as soon as possible.
For your next dose, return to your usual schedule on the original day you typically take your medication.
If it's been over 4 days since the missed dose:
Skip the current dose and wait until your next scheduled dose on your usual day.
Important Reminders
Do Not Double Up: Never take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose. Doing so can increase the risk of side effects or complications.
