You can follow this guide if you're using an Android device (phones/tablets).
For Apple devices, you'll find the necessary instructions here.
Once you've downloaded the Second Nature app from Google Play, you'll be able to track your weight and step count if you wish to. There are different ways to do this:
Uploading your data manually
You can enter your steps and weight data manually into the app. See the below articles on how to do this:
Uploading data from Google Fit
Install Google Fit (if you don't already have it)
When you open the Second Nature app, you'll be prompted to select your Google account and allow access
You can also select 'Go to profile' from the 'Home' page in the Second Nature app, select 'Settings' in the top right corner and select 'Allow Google Fit permissions'
Please let the support team know you're using Google Fit, so they can update your profile to sync your steps from Google Fit
Using a FitBit or Garmin watch
Unfortunately, FitBit and Garmin don’t allow their data to be shared with the Second Nature app. However, you can enter your step count manually at the end of each day. Alternatively, if you're able to sync your FitBit or Garmin to Google Fit (using a third-party app such as FitToFit), our app will be able to retrieve the data from there.
Using your own wireless/Bluetooth scales
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to directly sync your personal scales with the Second Nature app. Only the Second Nature scales can be synced with the app directly. However, you will be able to enter your weight readings manually.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team from the 'Chat' page in-app.
