Syncing sleep data from Health Connect can be a great way to track your sleep patterns.
To sync sleep data from Health Connect to your Second Nature account, please follow the instructions below.
Enable syncing with Health Connect in the Second Nature app (see this article on how to connect to Health Connect)
Open the Health Connect app on your Android device
Tap App permissions
Select Second Nature from the list of apps
Under Allow access, make sure Sleep is toggled on
If prompted, allow Second Nature to read your sleep data
If you're using another app or wearable (such as Fitbit, Garmin, Samsung Health, or Google Fit) to record your sleep, you'll also need to ensure that app has permission to write sleep data to Health Connect.
Check your sleep data
To confirm that sleep data is being recorded in Health Connect:
Open the Health Connect app
Tap Browse data (or Data & access, depending on your Android version)
Select Sleep
Check that recent sleep sessions are visible
Troubleshooting
If your sleep data still isn't syncing:
Check that your sleep tracking device or app has synced recently
Open the app that records your sleep to ensure the latest data has been uploaded to Health Connect
Confirm that both your sleep tracking app and Second Nature have the correct Health Connect permissions
Close and reopen the Second Nature app after enabling permissions
